Who We Are

redial is operated by a UK-based individual, not an incorporated company, and is the controller for the personal data described in this policy. For privacy enquiries, email hello@getredial.com.

Data We Collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, signup time, email preference status, and the waitlist form you used. We also collect the referring website's origin (scheme, hostname, and port, without its path, query string, or fragment) and valid utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign identifiers from the current page's URL. We do not collect utm_content or utm_term for new signups. Some attribution fields may be empty when you visit directly or use an untagged link. Joining is optional, but we need your email address to send you waitlist updates.

When you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you include in your message. Please do not include sensitive information that is not needed for your enquiry.

Cloudflare processes technical information to deliver and protect the site, including IP addresses, browser and device information, request information, and Turnstile verification data. If you allow analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics collects page views, page and referrer information, a per-page-load identifier, and browser performance measurements for traffic and performance reporting.

How We Use Data

We use your email address to confirm your waitlist signup and send redial launch updates, early access information, and product previews. We use email preference data to honour opt-out requests. We use aggregate analytics to understand traffic sources and improve the site. We associate current-page attribution and waitlist form placement with your signup to understand which campaigns and calls to action lead to waitlist registrations.

We also process technical information to deliver and secure the site and prevent automated submissions, and use correspondence to answer enquiries and handle privacy requests.

Legal Basis

We rely on your consent to send waitlist updates. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in a waitlist email. Opening the link does not unsubscribe you; you must confirm on the page, or your email application may submit the supported one-click request. This marks the contact globally unsubscribed and opts it out of the waitlist email topic. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew consent.

We rely on your consent for Cloudflare Web Analytics. Analytics remains off unless you select "Allow analytics", and you can withdraw that consent at any time using the Analytics settings control. We rely on our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the site, responding to enquiries, and using limited signup attribution to measure our launch marketing. We process privacy requests to comply with our legal obligations.

Processors

We use Cloudflare to host and protect the site, including Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent spam and automated submissions. If you consent, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to provide aggregate, cookie-free traffic and website performance reporting. Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics beacon does not use cookies, browser storage, or visitor fingerprinting to track individual visitors. Its RUM service receives IP addresses when handling requests but discards them at the nearest data centre rather than storing them in its core databases or logs. This does not describe the separate processing needed for hosting and security.

We use Resend to store waitlist contacts and their signup attribution, manage email preferences, and send waitlist emails. These providers process data for us so the site and waitlist can operate. For details of Cloudflare's browser measurements, see its RUM documentation.

Browser Storage

We store your analytics choice in your browser's local storage so the site can remember whether you allowed or declined analytics. Cloudflare's analytics beacon does not use cookies or browser storage. We do not store marketing attribution in cookies or browser storage; we collect attribution from the current page only when you submit the waitlist form, without retaining it across page navigation or return visits.

Retention

We keep waitlist data, including signup attribution, until launch and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Cloudflare retains aggregate analytics according to its service settings and retention practices. If you unsubscribe, we keep a record of that status so we do not send further waitlist updates to that address.

Your Rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data. You can also object to our use of your data or withdraw consent. Use Analytics settings to change your analytics choice, and use the unsubscribe link in a waitlist email to withdraw from those emails automatically. For other privacy requests, email hello@getredial.com. Automated unsubscribe does not handle access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or other enquiries.

Where applicable, you can ask for a portable copy of personal data you provided to us. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable data protection law. You can complain to a data protection supervisory authority, including in the EU country where you live or work or where an alleged infringement occurred. If UK data protection law applies, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). You do not need to contact us first to exercise your right to complain.
